With cookie season just in sight, I've compiled a list of some really great cookies in this Cookie Roundup. Whether you're looking for a new cookie, cookies for a cookie swap or preparing to ship cookies as gifts, you're sure to find old favorites as well as new cookies.
American cookies and bars as well as European cookies from Germany, France, Italy, England, Croatia, Poland, Russia and Australia are perfect for the holidays or anytime and you will find them all here. Many of these can be made ahead. Any of the bars or brownies can be cut smaller to use on an assorted tray presentation.

Hi Helen, thanks for all your wonderful recipes. I have your craving cookie book and have gifted one to 3 of my friends. I wonder if you might help me find a cookie I made but can't find my notes or the name. It was a very flaky crust with apricot filling. Does this ring a bell? My neighbor requested them at Christmas & I was hoping to make them for cookie trays to friends. If you send me an email at [email protected] it will be easier to communicate.

Hi Mary Lou - was it enclosed in the pastry? A sandwich cookie? Was the filling exposed? What did the cookie look like? Do you know the origin of the cookie such as the country? If you can give me more information I may have a suggestion.
